14 SECONDS TO BECOME SPIDER
The first act which comes almost authomatical, is the one to awaken the V8, with the button on the steering wheel, and then to search the command to open the aluminium sunroof. In 14 seconds the 458 gets from a coupè to a Spider, but its lines still remain aggressive and full of personality. The goal is to exhalt the driving experience even without searching for extreme performances, and to appreciate every second on board of this Spider.

THE V8 ENGINE
When the V8 starts its music, everything else gets less important: the exhaust pipe has been modified on the spider, to enhance the open air experience, thus the clients could use this condition as much as possible.

The V8 yells all its power: inside the car the music heard is the one to be rememberd, also thanks to the great aerodynamic design, projected to reduce the turbolences once the sunroof is folded.

AND IN A SECOND IT COMES BACK A COUPE
When the weather or the traffic are not optimal, the hood comes back in position and the 458 becomes once again a real coupe; beautiful to see, with light lines and no aesthetic breakings, comfortable and even with lot of space for the head.

Once connected to this Ferrari California and drove it either softy and aggressively, it's easy to understand that its only limits on the street are the one imposed by the driver's experience and by the wisdom: its commands are extremely lihgt, but sharped as knives, and the trust they make feel let one drive fast from the very first moment; even letting the double cloutch in automathic mode, it's enough to increase the rythm a little, to feel the change in the transmission response, and to exit from a bend in full double, ready to bite the straight road following.

Coming back to be smoother with the accelerator, the gear dynamics are fast and decreasing one comes to drive in full relax.
